Daily Serving: Level Playing Field

Each year, the women of Trillium get together to brainstorm a recipe, run the concept through benchtop testing, and ultimately brew the beer on the Pink Boots Society's Celebration Brew Day. Utilizing our Daily Serving base, layers of blackberry, lemon, and fresh ginger juice were woven in to create a final beer that is delightfully tart and full-bodied, while remaining deft and refreshing.

The labels in our Daily Serving series display a standard receiving scale that depicts the weight of fruit in each 16oz can. For the Level Playing Field edition, our Graphic Designer Leah Martocci hand-illustrated a uniform, two-sided scale, representing Trillium's focus on maintaining a workplace with a balanced gender makeup. Daily Serving: Level Playing Field presents an eye-catching deep plum color. Holding the glass to light unveils ruby highlights and a glowing, heavy haze. The nose is nuanced, never sitting idly, but rather shifting from mid-harvest blackberries and bright cherry to lemon verbena and zesty ginger root. Gratifyingly full-bodied, with a sweetness that effortlessly balances the beer's tart approach, Daily Serving: Level Playing Field finishes lively, with scrubbing carbonation.
